The market
A market for data that has an owner.
Scraped data has no chain of title. Nobody can say who made it, whether anyone agreed to its use, or what it is worth. Kiin's marketplace is the other thing: content with a known owner, a recorded consent, and a price its owner set.

For the people who made it
You set the price, or you set it aside.
Everything on Kiin is already the property of whoever posted it. The marketplace is simply what property allows: the choice to license it, trade it, gift it, or keep it out of the market entirely.

-
Name your price
List what you choose to list and price it yourself. An open market, not a rate card set by the platform.
-
Set the terms
Licence it once, licence it for a period, or transfer it outright. Each is a documented agreement rather than a buried permission.
-
Or sell nothing
Opting out is the default. Nothing is listed unless you list it, and nothing about a photo of your family becomes a product because you joined.
For the companies that need it
AI needs data it is allowed to use.
Model builders are being asked, by regulators and by courts, where their training data came from and who agreed to it. Most cannot answer. A market of authorised, provenanced content is the answer they can buy.
-
Provenance on the record
Every asset carries who made it and when, recorded at the point it was created rather than asserted afterwards.
-
Consent that is documented
Permission comes from the owner, for a stated purpose, on stated terms — and it can be produced later if anyone asks.
-
Bought, not taken
The people who made the data are paid for it. That is the difference between a supply chain and a scrape, and it is what makes the supply durable.
A market needs clear title first.
Property law did not exist to make landowners rich. Clear title is what made land markets possible: it let value be proved, priced, transferred and insured. Nothing comparable exists for personal data, which is why the value collects wherever the servers are.
Kiin puts the ownership layer in first and the market second. That order is the whole design: without title there is nothing to trade, and with it the trade becomes ordinary.

When
The market opens with v2.0.
v1.0 launches on 1 March 2027 with ownership, sharing and gifting. The marketplace follows in April 2027, once there is enough authenticated content for a market to be worth opening.
